Introduction

Voice Communicator (VC) components version 2.5 Pro is a set of classes designed to utilize audio hardware devices, Windows codecs, PCM handling routines and TCP/IP sockets to build audio rich software with communication abilities.

VC Components were successfully tested in the following environments:

VC components classes are located in several Object Pascal units. Refer to the list of units on the left frame for units and classes included in VC components (or click here if there is no left frame).


Demonstration code

VC components version 2.5 Pro package includes a number of example applications: simple recorder, player, mixer, codec, ACM enumeration, device enumeration, volume meter, RIFF file browser and others demos. Please refer to the example sources located in "\demos\" folder of VC installation or check the demos index file.

By default debug information is turned OFF for all demos and sources from VC 2.5 Pro package. To enable debuggin, do the following:

NOTE: Before opening demos included in VC 2.5 Pro package, make sure you have installed the VCL components into IDE components palette, as it was described in readme document.
